Cardlink at the Imagine Dragons concert with a full self-service ordering and payment solution in collaboration with Visa

Cardlink supported as a technology partner the Imagine Dragons concert, which took place on Wednesday 6 September at OAKA, providing an integrated all-in-one ordering and payment solution in collaboration with Visa.

Driven with innovation, Cardlink upgraded the experience of the band’s thousands of fans by installing a total of twenty vending machines for self-service purchase of snacks and drinks during the concert, offering them an additional option beyond the traditional box office. More in depth, the SK800 smart Android POS, enhanced with the advanced ordering app Cardlink maitre, enabled spectators to select the photo of the snack or drink they wanted to enjoy on the high-resolution screens, easily add the products to the cart, pay contactlessly with Visa with a card, smartphone or wearable, and with the proof of transaction, pick up their order at the nearby food stations. In this way, they offered an interactive and cutting-edge shopping experience, with no queues or delays.
