Do Cardlink POS terminals support IRIS payments?

IRIS payment acceptance is now supported on both Android POS devices and older-generation terminals.​

For existing Android POS users, the functionality is active automatically with POSsible version 8.4.2 or later, with no action required from the merchant. For new terminals, IRIS is available and ready to use from the start.​

Please ensure that your POS terminals remain continuously connected to power and the internet to receive the update on time.​

Customers with an active IRIS account can simply scan the QR code on your POS from their mobile and complete the payment instantly, no card needed, with real-time transaction confirmation.​

The tip functionality is also supported via IRIS allowing customers to easily add a tip during the transaction process.​

All wireless terminals will support IRIS payments, including pre-authorised transactions. A pre-authorised transaction can include multiple payments (Split Bill payments), and may combine both IRIS and card or cash payments.
