More than 200.000 POS Terminals in Cardlink’s Network
250% increase compared to June 2015
Cardlink announces that its network in the Greek market have exceeded the 200,000 installed POS terminals in June 2017. Cardlink manage the largest POS network in Greece and over the last 2 years have installed and activated more than 120,000 new POS Terminals in its network.
Antigonos Papadopoulos, Commercial Director at Cardlink stated: «Over the last period we are facing a significant demand for POS terminals and as we approach the first deadline of Law 4446/2016, daily demand increase even further. At Cardlink, we respond to market developments by designing and implementing solutions and products that aim at the immediate service of the business and the overall coverage of their needs. In this context, our terminals are now available at the branches of the cooperating banks for immediate delivery and activation within one day with a fast and simple procedure. Our customers have the opportunity to contact us directly to obtain additional terminals (wired, wireless, mobile POS), to add a contactless card reader and PIN PAD device or even to upgrade their existing terminals. In addition at Cardlink we have ready solutions for terminal interface with the cash register / system for better service and experience of both the consumer and the business during the transaction.
We are very pleased to achieve the symbolic number of 200,000 terminals on our network, as we also contribute to the further development of the electronic transactions landscape in Greece. It is important to stress that for Greek consumer’s electronic transactions are becoming a habit, since as we can see from our data, the number of transactions grow at an annual rate of 70%. As a result, Greece has made 8 transactions per capita per year, at around 45, with further growth rates to reach the European average. We have already completed a project of expanding and upgrading our infrastructure so to manage an even larger number of transactions, and we commit ourselves to being at the forefront, ready to meet the new needs and requirements that will arise in order to make a significant contribution to the expansion of electronic transactions in Greece. εραιτέρω περιθώρια ανάπτυξης για να πλησιάσει τον Ευρωπαϊκό μέσο όρο. Τα τερματικά POS της Cardlink απευθύνονται σε Τράπεζες, επιχειρήσεις και ελεύθερους επαγγελματίες και αποτελούν το πιο ευέλικτο εργαλείο για την πραγματοποίηση συναλλαγών. Δέχονται όλες τις κάρτες όλων των Τραπεζών και υποστηρίζουν στο ίδιο τερματικό όλες τις συνεργασίες των επιχειρήσεων με Τις τράπεζες για την αποδοχή συναλλαγών με κάρτες. Διατίθενται ενσύρματα, ασύρματα και σε μορφή mobile POS (mPOS) για συναλλαγές από έξυπνα κινητά/ταμπλέτες, καλύπτοντας όλο το φάσμα των αναγκών των επιχειρήσεων.
