Cardlink, member of Worldline (Euronext:WLN), the European leader in payment services, attended the 4th Electric Vehicles Conference on Tuesday, October 10th, presenting its innovative integrated technology solution for one of the world’s fastest-growing industries, that of electromobility.
In the context of the conference, George Chatzigiannakis, Large Accounts & B2B Sales Manager of Cardlink, participated in an interesting discussion underlining Cardlink’s expertise and experience to support the needs of any sector. At the same time, he highlighted in depth the advanced end-to-end solution for self-service POS payments created by the company especially for electric vehicle charging points.
The solution is an all-in-one service compatible with all types of chargers, that includes the integrated interface of any EV charging platform both with the Cardlink POSsible hardware and software for payments and the acceptance and settlement of transactions. The solution offers to drivers flexibility, convenience and security, and an upgraded 24/7 self-service friendly payment experience at charging points, equipping them with POS that enables them to charge their vehicle and pay around the clock without having to download any specific to the charging point app. At the same time, partner businesses are uniquely served through an integrated solution that provides them with the whole package.
More specifically, the charge point operator or the business that has placed charging points, in addition to the in-app charging solution can choose to install a self-service IM30 Android POS, with a 5″ screen, which is resistant to natural phenomena, on or next to the charger for on-site payments, or a SK800 smart kiosk, with a 23.8” screen, in a weather protected area near the chargers. Both state-of-the-art hardware options enable drivers to select an available charger, charge and then pay by card, smartphone or wearable, completing the transaction process with flexibility and security. In addition, drivers can choose to receive a tax-stamped proof of service via sms.
Even in the case of a business already having its own application, Cardlink’s self-service POS can be interfaced with it, so that payments can be made through the chargers’ existing software.
The visitors of the conference, leading representatives of the global automotive industry, government, and EU executives, as well as leading Greek companies operating in the field of electromobility, had the opportunity to experience Cardlink’s application live at the self-service POS located in the conference area and find the solution that fits their specific needs.
